UW Group and its subsidiary companies UMAR Shipping Services and WSR Services is pleased to announce that Mr. Harris Varnava has been appointed as the General Manager in Greece as from the 1st of October 2020.
Mr.Varnava is a well-experienced manager with strong academic background and demonstrated history of showing passion, determination, and results, gaining practices from multinational organizations in Greece and abroad.
Harris is known for his modern management style and his genuine simplicity mindset. He is passionate in leading high performing teams and able to establish clear framing to the service of agility, ensuring excellent execution of key initiatives and strategic priorities.
The strong drive and his focus behind customer-centricity along with the desire to elevate any product before him, as well as his sell-out mindset and good cooperation with key clients, will be the success factors to the challenge that comes before him in establishing the company into the Greek Marine Industry.
